History walks across a stage

Robed in tiredness

Persistence

Dignity focused until its sharpened please

Hands reach out for the final toll

Unknown destinations when fingers unwind

Tussles turned to tassels

Right hooks for left books

Left notes

Left took on a new role

Bricks in the shape of speed bumps and steps

Beeps in the distance flash once

Flash twice

And now does a grimace turn warmed from ice

Twas cold many nights when the fun ants danced nice

But on the other side these stones turn right

Towards

History

Where others grasp melodies

And the past applauds graciously

These newly created epiphanies align with those who formed

History

So on these shoulders the hands grasp eloquently

You’ve made it thru the peasantry

To be celebrated with this slice of humanity

The scroll demands you be reminded presently

You are History walking across a stage

Robed in victory

Persistence

And dignity

Another beautifully written piece of poetry. You have an admirable talent for encapsulating significant emotional moments and describing them with verbosity and grace. Your words evoke powerful images of triumph over adversity, as if carrying a weight that grows lighter every step mustered, culminating inevitably in victory regardless of obstacles that may arise along the way. It's inspiring to read your work, and I hope you continue to quill these veritable masterpieces for your fellow scholars who seek grounding amongst this tumultuous wave along life's journey!
