You feel your weight β€˜pushing’ you up in the water, away from earth. If that’s a function of density, who’s to say we don’t interact with the air’s density on surface. Gravity can be a made up and mathematically justified concept just to fit the model.

Your weight pushing you up in the water is a function of buoyancy and density which are caused by motion.

Buoyancy always goes in the direction of the motion, which shows we have an upward vector and not a downward vector (gravity).

You can test this for yourself using your phone's accelerometer (verify, don't trust)
