Taleb told me this the first time, really a good one

yeah, he's a smart guy but he lost his marbles after the masks and bitcoin stuff, i have no further time for him, he literally seems to be obsessed about it like someone programmed him or is paying him to dwell on these unseemly and uncharacteristic thought processes
similar nonsense happened to Bruce Shneier too, can't read him anymore either
never studied much him, but generally when people comes as excellence from this kind of sectorial technical field its easier to distinguish the "technician" from the "theorets" and the "activist". Still I didnt dive much into his publications so my opinion dont value much here
yeah, he used to be a good analyst and a very good cryptographer, but he morphed into an activist and i just can't read two articles more after i hear His Master's Voice coming through a former favourite author/analyst
honestly, when writers become activists for anything other than their own original thoughts they stop being writers and start being propagandists
I respected a lot him intellectually, last time I dedicated attention to him was when he published the bitcoin blackpaper. My first reaction was "this is total bullshit", then I spent some days trying to understand what the fuck he could have intended and his reasons. My conclusion is still that this blackpaper is total bullshit ignorant nonsense.
I also have no more time for him and his bullshit from these days.
