Now that nostr exists what is the value add over doing it on a nostr relay where anyone could copy the events to their own relay

Who's going to pay to run the back end?
Relay operators would be the equivalent of the Hive blockchain. There would still need to be processors that ran things like podping to present a feed for relay operators like you've done but storage would be any public relay. How much data storage does podping take to operate?
