A few weeks ago I finished “God, Human, Animal, Machine” by Meghan O’Gieblyn 📖

It’s a really interesting exploration on how people throughout history have tried to define what it means to be human.

For someone like me who doesn’t have a background in philosophy, I found the author’s writing style really interesting and it kept me engaged during pretty heady topics. I would recommend! #books #nostrbookclub

You’re welcome! I skimmed through the transcript and it is very similar to the section in the book about transhumanisn. If you found it intriguing then I think you may enjoy the book!

I think so too, I’ve found a few of Meghan O’Gieblyn’s pieces today (as I’ve followed this prompt)… including as WIRED's spiritual advice columnist. Teilhard de Chardin has come up consistently over the past year or so also.

The theme fits nice with ‘the psychology of totalitarianism’ which I just finished reading.
