New Year card sending is popular in Japan?
昔はpopularでしたが、最近はメールなど他の手段での挨拶に取ってかわられて、年賀状を送る人は少なくなってきています。郵便料金が値上がりしたので、さらに少なくなりそうです。
I love postcards but New Year Card habit is not there in India. Once phones came in, people preferred calls for wishing 😅
