well youre suggesting that there is a need for socialist policies while i dont belive there is... so i cant really answer but now you got me thinking...

i dont think there is a need for capitalist policies either. both of these "ism"s are just things that occur naturally. no one has to tell me how to trade or invest in the future(using capital but not necessarily money) or how to help someone less fortunate them me when im able to without the incentive of profit. these are things that functional people just do

I’m not suggesting, just pointing out that there is a increasing wealth gap, poverty, and overall quality of life dropping. If capitalism was the “best” system, why is there a need for social programs.

Your second paragraph is hitting on the ideology I’m addressing, to a certain degree. You are right, you do not need “profit” for society to function.

Im not saying capitalism is a good or bad "system" im saying its something exists with or without a system(government), as does socialism. imo the problems youre pointing out come from the government itself not from whatever ideology it claims to practice

I will openly say capitalism IS a bad system, with evidence. Capitalism can NOT exist without the State to enforce property rights and defend its claims. That is not a debate, it’s in Capitalisms tenets.

now were on sementics. burying acorns building a nest digging a gopher hole is "capitalism". fighting for your pack and feeding your young is "socialist". animals do this. you want someone to tell you how to be generous, some people want to be told how to be greedy. youre both dumber than squirrels

Let’s clear the air, I am not a socialists. But, capitalism has done more harm by a long shot. I don’t advocate for the use of force against anyone, which is another reason a despise capitalism.

However, by the definition you just gave, would not being a team player be better for society than just thinking about more profits?
