Just got my whitetail pack together and fixing to create the usual gear pile in the middle of the floor for quick loadups for a few camp weekends. Most of the real action won’t be till late October here. These bush bucks don’t move much during the day till the rut.

Awesome. Same here for whitetail, we don't have many in my immediate area, mostly mule deer, best whitetail in these parts is about 300 miles from here. I can say though, the state record was harvested less then 10 miles from me, not that I'm a horn hunter, I prefer to eat a dry doe.
