My favorite conspiracy theory is that these buildings were from a real civilization in North America and we destroyed them and the history during the progressive era
yes! such an interesting conspiracy. honestly it could even be that it was from the native americans, destroyed to cement the idea that they were primitive savages that could never build things like this. look up the cahokia mounds!
I've seen these photos before. They're amazing.
it’s insane! the building behind it is still around, it’s the free art museum now.
i kinda wish they kept all the fair buildings up for as long as they could despite them building most of them with plaster.
hopefully we return to such beauty
