My local paper is just Foto ops of our mayor showing off how great he is.
and I'm meant to recycle this shit into the paper container? Right...
Mine goes straight there. Imagine we could just put plastic bottles in the plastic collection too, that would be too easy right?
Another one of those things that make no sense but hey, I have 3 garbage bins and the yellow bag to recycle my trash.
You can't use a yellow bin either, it has to be in a bag and blow all over the street.. common sense has died in fiat land.
the result of "free" (as in no cost) = ads in paper publications and ads + tracking + targeted ads online.
free (as in cost) is an illusion
I remember when I was younger that newspaper was an actual newspaper with "some" ads inside. Now the newspaper is basically the wrapping for the ads. Considering that you're meant to have like 3 bins and a yellow bag for recycling in Germany this is pretty daft. But, you get to pay for all the recycling.
I didn't know that they still printed these things...
