My phone just started blaring a super loud siren-like noise from nowhere....

It was a test of the Italian emergency broadcast system.

I had no idea that they had to power to push a message with a max volume alarm to my phone (it was on silent).

WTF!? 🤬

Crazy e! There are a config in the phone to desactivate it, but if persist you can use https://github.com/0x192/universal-android-debloater
