I like comparing coding with AI to driving. It’s a powerful machine and in the right hands you can do miracles, but in the wrong hands and under bad circumstances, you can cause a lot of damage. Drive carefully, anon! While you are playing with AI in controlled environment, it’s all good, once you release the code into production, you can cause a lot of damage, depending on what the code does and stores. Hopefully you will develop an interest in the code and understand what is being output and how it actually works, making you and the code so much better 🫡

I drove in the era of horses (COBOL) 😂

Would you recommend me saddling up again with AI as my chauffeur?

100%. After a month or two of seriously diving into agent assisted coding, I can honestly say it’s the elusive 10x’er to productivity management has always dreamed about.
