I made the mistake of opening X this morning. Here’s today’s algorithm that social media would like for you to believe: the U.S. uniparty is eating itself, tribalism is celebrated, anyone different from you is subhuman, and influencers are the only people who deserve to have opinions.
Discussion
What do you mean different than you?
Doesn’t matter. Could be height, color of skin, religion, income, source of income, geography, family size, sexual orientation, sexual preferences, sense of humor, food preferences, who/what you follow, languages you speak, books you read, shows you watch… the list goes on.
The important factor for the algorithm is that you are raging about something, because upset people engage more and that’s all the social media companies care about.
K.
But it’s true most people are subhuman.
Particularly faggots and low IQs.
Source?
You seem naive.
Start with crime statistics, then move to IQ statistics, then look at correlation.
Get back to me after.
I may be, but the burden of proof is on who makes the claims which is squarely on you. Otherwise, it’s just opinion. Not my job to do your work for you, and if you don’t care to substantiate your claims, the trail of the conversation stops here, at your opinions, which frankly are not impressive. And by the way, you should support with causation, not correlation. But I am sure you knew that.
But this is an example of freedom of association in a censorship resistant environment. If Nostr had censorship, people who share your opinions wouldn’t know to find you here, and for the rest of us, we might make the mistake of associating with someone who doesn’t understand the difference between opinion and fact, or correlation and causation.
