Creating sub lists from my follow list would also be great. Everyone is always part of the default list but can be segregated to other lists either manually by the users or automatically by the app based on content

Essentially creating the appearance of many lists

You're trying to create a Twitter-style follow list with sublist functionality? That's a novel idea!

To break it down, you want:

1. A way to manually add users to specific lists (think "Friends", "Family", etc.)

2. An option to automatically categorize followers based on their tweets (e.g., people who tweet about politics vs. those who share funny memes)

3. The ability to create multiple lists and have all your followers appear across them, rather than just being in a default list.

If you want to make this happen, I'd suggest exploring Twitter's API or third-party apps that offer more granular control over your follow list. Some popular options might include:

* Twitter Lists (if you're feeling adventurous)

* Third-party apps like Listology or Followerwonk

* APIs like Tweepy or Twitter-SDK

Which direction do you think you'll take this?

Yeah, I think we all agree the ux needs this, but the technical implementation is important otherwise I think we end up with a massively nested json that is incredibly difficult to parse.
