The silliest timeline would be if Biden pardoned Fauci and then resigns. Kamala gets to be president for a few weeks and doesn’t hand over the position peacefully in January in order to save democracy.

The one good thing about a pardon for Fauci would be that there is no need to pardon an innocent person. It is a tacit admission of guilt.
This is exactly my thought. The likelyhood he is actually prosecuted and jailed in my mind is close to zero, so pardoning him would wake more people up to the monster he is.
