Live from the Pamir Highway… this is one section we’re on right now. And no, this is not an off road track but the actual “highway”.
So far today we’ve managed to cover a grand total of 45km.

Also, this is why you do the Pamir in a solid off road vehicle, not a motorhome or converted van.

GM☕️☕️🌅🫡Amazing that no one anywhere has taken your vehicle! Border crossings and rogue outlaws would love to confiscate it. You guys must be very diplomatic. Stay safe!
Every border crossing we’ve had has been super friendly. Sometimes it takes a while but the people have been nice and happy and easy going.
As for outlaws…. People don’t tend to try and rob 15t, unique, ex-military vehicles, because they’re not quite sure who or what is going to come out!
At no point in our journey so far have we felt threatened anywhere.

Gm ☀️ There is a saying in Spanish that says “Urgente enfrente” (urgent in front) There are things that take time and it doesn’t mean that you don’t want to do them. This seems to be one of them.
