Bitwig on which distro, please?

Pop OS is my current daily driver. Its debian based.
I've used debian for a couple of years. How much does bitwig cost, please?
Imo urm 400$ normally but they run sales often and you can get it for around 300$. It's extremely reasonable for a full-fledged daw considering Ableton charges around $1,000 for their full suite.

Among the DAWs you refered, Ardour attracts me most because it's free, and i'm a novice.
Any suggestion, @enko?
I dont really have an educated opinion on ardour because I've never used it. 😅
