As the contest for the claim of being able to deliver peace heats up, Bitcoin's strategy of delivering peace by reducing centralized power is coming up against a very different fiat strategy: Deploy a controlled demolition of safety. Stop enforcing border control in the same way. Stop offering policing in the same way. Stimulate an increase in crime and a feeling of reduced safety in places like San Fran, New York, Sweden & the UK. Make many (esp left leaning) feel unsafe. Then say peace, stability, law & order can be returned with surveilance, digital id & cbdc. This plan will do well. People will agree to almost anything if you can mobalize them using fear.
