First time I had it was during a visit to Maine.
Maine is where I grew up in the early 80s, my dad used to drink it all the time...I hated it as a kid, thought it tasted like pepto bismol...now it tastes like rootier root beer to me....I think it was first produced there if I'm not mistaken.
As far as I know, yes.
It also now has a West Coast producer in western Washington as well.
I like it's herbal weirdness.
