Part of a dream I had last night is a bit confusing

I saw a large fish eating a person while I was on the shores in the U.S..

But when I asked everyone, they said no, they are riding the big fish

So I looked and they were right

But both were right … ?

Next part of the dream was pretty detailed, but it was a restaurant with four long hallways around a mall .. and the one corner was a grab or focal point..
