Day 1 of having a nostr profile without any relays.

I am assuming this would be what screaming into the void feels like.

I see four on your profile.

Weird - I see none

If he has no relays, I couldn't see his note 😉

Agreed - but I still SEE none

Snort says I have none.

Primal also says I have none. But I am not sure what is there on right hand sidebar, seems like primal client default list of relays.

I don't understand how I can see your note if you don't have any relays .

This is what I see when viewing your relays in Amethyst.

Some clients uses explicit relays to bootstrap, I think that is what is happening to you. Also snort has been using gossip for a lil while too (connects to your recommended relay list, kind 10002)

I wish I knew what any of this means , sounds clever though .

You can understand it by hitting the nips xD always sounds funny

Hmmm... so what I have learned is that nostr clients will not let you scream into a void (they are getting too good at gossip).

Does anyone on here run a /dev/null relay that I can set as may sole relay to see if I can send a few notes into the void by broadcasting to that?

A nostr user should assume that every note they publish will be rebroadcast on relays far and wide with no discretion.
