What's worse, I wonder, owning slaves or diddling and killing kids? We seem to have no issue with the latter but love to condemn the former.

Lament all you want the white men who labored to create a free society in the American colonies while trying to deal with the slavery issue, which they did.

Be sure, though, to actively advocate for the 50m people enslaved around the non-white world today while you're at it.

Nah.

Truth is slavery should have never ended in America.

Perhaps some slave rights in terms of treatment, but man, those freed slaves are really fucking up our country ever since.

I'm fine with it ending. People shouldn't be treated like property. But every age has its issues it refuses to address.
