⚡️🔎 NEW - « A 51% attack on Bitcoin could cost "only" around $10 billion. »

That's according to Ethereum researcher Justin Drake, who states in an interview that an attack against Bitcoin would be far less costly than against Ethereum, which would currently cost around $44.8 billion.

As a reminder, a 51% attack occurs when a single entity or group controls more than 50% of the mining or staking power of a blockchain network, thereby gaining total control of the network.

That guy always seems so smug and arrogant when he talks. I find it hard to believe anything he says.

“according to Ethereum researcher” LOL

😂🤣

I wonder if he is at all responsible for the direction of Ethereum which is to say that there is no direction or conviction. Not to be taken seriously.

I don't think it costs that little.

10 billon dollars to get control for10 min , aka 1 block sure maybe.
