If you truly believe the state holds no legitimate power, then everyone incarcerated by the state has been kidnapped.

8k kidnap victims released is not nearly enough in the country with the highest per capita kidnapping rates in the world.

Any objection to this number standing out from the others comes from a deep seated belief that the state somehow holds legitimate authority to lock them up in the first place.

If your social programming has you making that short of error of thought, now is a good chance to catch it and deprogram yourself.

To add to this thought, there is a little known exception in US law.

Slavery is still legal if the slave has been convicted of a crime. Prisoners in the for profit privately owned jails are forced to work to staff their own prison for "wages" usually under $1/hr in a land where gas stations and fast food joints pay 15x that amount and the absolute "legal" minimum for the unincarcerated is over $7/hr.

So not only have they been kidnapped, with no offer for ransom (bail) after conviction and sometimes even before conviction, they are then gifted by the state to private corporations to be used as slaves.

This is all true today in 2025.
