I hadn’t even heard the word “sewist” until tonight. I was talking to my buddy yesterday and was saying how there’s gotta be a name for a guy that sews. I’m not a tailor, I’m not a seamstress, I’m a _____. He was like “…. seamster?” 😑

I feel like seamstress is a label for professionals, I'm not on that level lol. I used to see people saying sewer (sew-er) but yikes 💩💩, I started using sewist probably not the first but much better 😂 and gender neutral.
