Replying to Avatar HoloKat

My take on Damus: remove zap support temporarily just to appeal the decision.

We can still zap on other clients for now.

Buys some time figuring it out.

Probaly the best course of action. iOS users are stuck anyway, no other better option, even without the zaps.

Buys some time for iOS users to buy Android phones, install GrapheneOS and use FOSS like bosses.

It’s not even about being able to zap. You have to be in the App Store long term to even show on people’s radar.

Even if there is a zapless native app, and a zap-enabled PWA.

Interestingly, zaps allow someone to build an entirely PWA based web store with a full decentralised (unmolestable) payment mechanism built in.
