I once asked a hot waiter if I could have him to-go as well. But no I haven’t used many pick up lines in my time. I’m more likely to think of a cheesy pickup line or hear one and be inclined to use it on a partner than a stranger.

On the waiter? Yeah I got his number and we went on a date. Unfortunately the date swerved into utter surrealism when I felt like I couldn’t leave a friend to her own devices and he felt like he couldn’t leave us. There was a toddler covered in chocolate pudding that popped up around 3am. His Dad almost gave me the toddler. Like that’s how weird the night got.

I would run into the waiter from time to time for a while afterwards. We never tried to go another date, try for a normal date. I’d love to bump into him now just to tell him that friend of mine is now a married mother of two.
