Yesterday's run was a slow one but I still finished my 13 miles. 21km always makes a good picture.

Yesterday, I went to the Metalab in NYC. They have these shades I am considering getting. Mango opened a store in 5th Avenue! That's a Spaniard brand that I saw in Paris. It's arrived in Manhattan. There's this Brazilian restaurant that you must try! I went there for their salad bar but instead ended having the burger and an expresso for dessert. It was delish.

I have to start counting these runs... This is long run 44. At week 20, the intensity of my workouts will increase for the last 20 weeks of training. Which means, my long runs will be longer.

I have 46 weeks until the NYC marathon... But the last two weeks is called tapering. I will not be running hard during tapering. I will actually be conserving my energy the most on those last two weeks. The life of the marathoner.
