Yes!

Head nods = Affirmatives

Head shakes = Negations

*If I signed what I did in the gif, but shook my head, that would change the meaning from UNDERSTAND (affirmatiive) to DON'T-UNDERSTAND (negation)

Yes, this sign means "UNDERSTAND"!
