I explained it to her by comparing it to roulette and how her EV would be higher by just gambling in Vegas. She did get it on some level and it was a good talk but it definitely seems like the 100k price tag is discouraging retail. Sad!
This is the issue with denominating the cost of fiat in bitcoin terms. Needs to be presented as sats per dollar
It's an ego thing too. Some people don't want to think about their net worth as something like 0.37627189 even if that is a lot of money. No real worries though, everyone gets the price they deserve.
