Just watched Nicki Minaj’s VMA performance… she snapped! She looked beautiful and sounded great. She premiered a piece of a new song and her bars & punchlines 🥶🤧

There’s been this thing recently where hip hop artists are rolling out diss tracks in real time in massive ways. Pusha T at the LV show is a perfect example. The roll out is basically apart of the diss.

Anyhow, the rap girlies have been beefing. There are basically 2 camps… barbs and used to be barbs. Because Nicki ( OG barb) has issues across multiple genres & industries(not saying she’s the problem) she’s constantly being played with.

The snippet, that she premiered at the VMA’s, which she hosted and won an award, is evidence of her mastery. The night was her diss tracks roll out 🤣 now I can’t wait for the Pink tape 2… and I haven’t heard the 1st one. BRILLIANT.

She gave a master class in Rap w/ just a snippet. I’m not a barb and never have been but it’s no doubting her skill… she’s definitely one of the greatest rappers of all-time and an American treasure.
