US hunting licences are very well managed. For what is usually only a few dollars you can hunt year around different animals. Way cheaper than you could buy that meat from a farm. The money goes to insuring there is enough population left to reproduce and give us food the next year.
In many places on your own property you can kill what ever you want.
Can we complain about really shitty regulations?
Like not being able to build small houses, not being able to sell food you produce at home, it costing 10,000$ to adopt a child, epa regulations making it illegal to make small trucks.
Sooo many worse things hurting our freedom day to day.
