Ah yes, that makes sense now. I went there 10 years ago, cycled up to the top of the hill in 40C heat where the entrance is only to find it closed 😂

Damn, thats a hell of a bike ride in heat!
That was just the beginning. I then cycled to Southernmost tip of the island and then back north, only this time I took a different route and ended up cycling on a narrow footpath in the mountains, without any water. At some point I began to think I was going to die there from the heat, exhaustion and dehydration.
Luckily, I didn't ;)
A good story was made! Next time bring water 😂
