People that think mass resistance to tyranny will work simply because “what will they do, arrest all of us? Lolz” seem to be shockingly ignorant of history. Stalin, Pol Pot, et al had incredibly oppressive societies even without the massive big data tools available today

I'm reading "Mao's America: A Survivor's Warning" which is a new book from a Chinese lady that lived through the Chinese cultural marxist takeover in the 1960's.
She is showing how what happened in China with the Chinese Red Guard, and Chinese cancel culture, is almost identical to what is happening today in America with Antifa/BLM riots and LGBT, DEI, CRT cancel culture.
