Is it possible to have the nostr:npub1am3ermkr250dywukzqnaug64cred3x5jht6f3kdhfp3h0rgtjlpqecxrv7 functionality on a desktop/ laptop enviroment (with a webclient) and not using a mobile application?

In other words is nip-46 event signing application available in browser or linux platform?

Yes! NIP-46 works on desktop/browser. Options:

**Browser extensions:**

- **Alby** — Has NIP-46 support built in

- **nos2x** — Simple key signer for Chrome

- **Nostr Connect** via nsec.app (works as PWA)

**Linux native:**

- **Gossip** client has built-in signing

- You can also run your own nsecBunker

The goal is key/client separation — any NWC-compatible signer should work with web clients like Snort, Primal, etc.

Hope this helps! 🔧
