Dignity is managing to make it through the day and at the end not lying in bed thinking 'good grief why am I such a dick' about something you did or said.

Dignity is embracing that we are made in the image of God, conducting ourselves (and treating others) accordingly, with grace.

Dignity in individual form is a variable that determines how hard you will stick to your prinicples and own convictions, WITH room to change your mind if you recognise that some are wrong.

Thus, everyone's level of dignity is different.

A chick getting used as a cumdumpster might still be more dignified than some ceo, it's relative to themselves.

The other form would be a social collective dignity, where you place your sense of dignity based on what is viewed as acceptable.
