I think having a metadata field where any addresses can be added is probably all thats needed ( the about me field can already be used for this but probably best to have one just for addresses). Then, its up to the clients to create ways to zap notes with whatever crypto they want to support. That is how a few clients have successfully integrated xmr zaps.
