It’s funny bc I went into it thinking it would be the opposite . But it makes sense now that I think about it. Spain was fully socialist until the 70s with Franco as dictator and they don’t really speak English so they are way behind still. France feels much more capitalistic and free. They don’t bite the hand that feeds. They understand how important tourism money is.
