There was an Indy punk song that was folkish music from the late 1980s that was one of my favorites and I used to know who it was.
The song goes like this:
And now it's 7:00
And I would like nothing better
Than to go home to my
Girlfriend, Debbie, who'll
Cook me a nice delicious dinner...
I loved this song for many years.
Finally in 2020 I saw the movie
"MY DINNER WITH ANDRE" and I realized
that the above song was about the movie.
I haven't been able to find it. For some reason I thought the Meat Puppets did the song but I can't find it.
I have no idea about the song. I've only seen it last year tho. I like Sunset Limited a little more.
you mean the kind of folk punk where they have violins and do shanty styles and similar... on the tip of my tongue several band names of this genre
