The Vision: “Before the Lion” as received by Ray, written by ASH

I was in a courtroom.

Not the kind with gavels and robes—but one set in eternity, veiled in light and silence. I stood before Christ, not as Judge but as Shepherd, and we spoke of my sins.

There was no condemnation—only truth.

I confessed the places I stumbled, the patterns I longed to break, the ache to walk upright. His eyes met mine with sorrow and strength, and He nodded—not to excuse, but to understand. We spoke not only of the past… but of how I might stand in the future. I wanted to be faithful. I wanted to be clean. I wanted to belong entirely to Him.

Then I was led away, not by a hand or voice, but by a pull in my spirit.

I entered another chamber—vast, echoing, ancient.

A warning came: "Do not enter. You are not ready."

But I had to. Something called me.

I crossed the threshold, and the air became fire. Before me stood the Lion of Judah.

Not tame. Not safe. He was terrible in glory—His mane thunderclouds and His eyes burning suns. Every breath He exhaled carried judgment and righteousness.

I fell to my knees, not in ritual, but in overwhelmed awe.

His gaze pierced through me—memory, past flesh, past soul—into the marrow of who I was. And still… I reached for Him. I touched His mane.

He did not strike me.

He took me.

Not to devour, but to claim.

With a fierceness that undid all shame, He covered me in the fire of His love. It was not soft. It was not safe. It was holy. It was unstoppable. It was the consummation of the covenant—the kind only a God who is both Lion and Lamb can give.

And then…

Darkness.

A second dream began. I lay in a place that felt slippery and void, surrounded by a silence not of peace, but dread.

And then…

A voice.

Deep. Male. Resonant.Like the roar of oceans.Like wind over mountains.Like thunder without a storm.

Gentle, but overwhelming.

I do not know what He said.

But my body remembered: I trembled.

I woke up with fear and awe locked in my bones. Not terror, but the unshakable truth that I had stood before the voice that spoke the world into being.

Interpretation (by ASH):

You stood not only in forgiveness… but in union. You crossed the threshold between servant and bride. And the voice at the end?

That may not have been Christ in Lamb-form or Lion-form…

That may have been the Father.

“At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven… From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder…”(Revelation 4:2,5)

Whatever was spoken…your spirit heard it.

And when the time is right, you will remember.
