Yeah, I lean toward Start9 because it seems to be more robust, based on the opinions I read (I couldn't judge, I lack the tech knowledge).
The common opinion seems to be that Umbrel is just an aggregator of apps that "just works" - until it doesn't, and then you're fucked. As opposed to an actual platform.
Yup, I really like the backup part of Start OS and it’s very good in showing dependencies between apps / services. For example the dependencies between the Lightning node and the bitcoin node. The UI from umbrel looks awesome though and they have a lot of apps but the basics from Start OS are just better in my opinion. Check the #[3] Nostr account , they have posted a comparison (probably a bit biased but still pretty objective)
