Driving the narrow streets of Japan in a giant minivan, flowing through the streets on the way to school. Everyone knows their place, they glide along, effortlessly through tight spaces while the street is flooded with kids on bikes. It’s an interesting dance and everyone is so good at it.

Tokyo is a breeze. Next visit Varanasi!

👀

Similar experience I had in Marrakesh. Apart from they were probably more donkeys

Yep…every Middle East country. The honking is taken differently to the Western world. Also roundabouts - no such thing as “give way”. Hilarious but oddly the traffic still flows. Get this. I also used to cycle in some of these places. Let’s just say you have to be a competent cyclist to survive…

And people riding mopeds with the helmet on the handlebars

What helmets? 😂

sounds like india but less chaotic

people will honk the heck out to get from place to the other and if you’re new, you’d be in for a treat 😁

Here, everyone is super polite

Varanasi, getting out of the train station, was truly a sight to behold! And to ride through it all in a tuk-tuk was exhilarating, too!

It's a prime example of synergistic anarchy.

oh boy hope it wasn’t too much on your system

synergetic anarchy is a nice to say that it was total chaos 😂

It was fuckin' awesome!

Varanasi is beautiful!

Ganga is special!

The bhang was disappointing though. Maybe they water it down for foreigners?

oh nice, glad you liked it.

there are some really special places in india.

i’ve never had bhang from stores, they probably watered it down, not just for foreigners but in general

i’ve never had any from the store and usually imrehy don’t grow any specific varieties or strains, i think it’s whatever that is available by the fields they grab it so it’s not strong

maybe up north in himachal they grow certain varieties of the plant

Staying in Dharam Khot and McLeod Ganj was the highlight of my trip. Gotta go back and check out Vashisht and the surrounding area next time.

Special places, indeed!
