This code was once illegal to export. It was considered a military weapon.
Punks made it a challenge to condense the code as much as possible. Some tattooed it. Basically everything you need to encrypt and decrypt RSA messages.

Those guys (and people like them) did so much for the space. I spend hours reading the cypherpunk mailing lists in awe. A space that was so much more than just digital currency. It was inevitable that Bitcoin would come from that world.

I actually was reading form of Hal and Satoshi’s early post where some were questioning the code and it’s validity. Was very interesting with foresight involved now.
