I actually do think it’s quite diverse. lotsa lgbtqia+, lotsa nerds, coders, hipsters, artists, that’s not the problem. the app itself is and all those involved with it, as it seems. too institutional, too clean, too big tech. wef employees (literally in some cases). I really see no purpose as they couldn’t care less about censorship, the majority is actually migrating due to elon’s “free speech” policies. so, u know? it’s a behemoth, something in between facebook and mastodon.

Didn’t realize it was WEF peeps! Ooooph that changes things slightly. So the users that went to BlueSky only left cause they don’t like Elon… hmmmm.. but I was under impression Elon is opening Twitter to be free speech, and prior Twitter under Dorsey was not. (Examples such as Twitter files proved censorship).
…and yes, I understand what ya mean now that Bluesky lacks purpose (since it’s not decentralized anyway).
it actually is, but what I meant was… so what? mastodon as well, but they managed to censor users. sooner or later, it’ll happen with bluesky as well.
as for wef, dunno if their devs and ceos and stuff have links somehow, I just saw two users that, according to their profiles, are wef employees. but it all seems to fit on wef’s agenda, that’s what I meant. time will tell.
Ahhh understand. What’s your thoughts on Jack’s participation w BS?
as I’ve written a few days ago on an article: omen or knowledge of cause. the idea came up in 2019, months before the massive twitter censorship. I’m giving him the benefit of doubt here, which he already showed he deserves. he probably didn’t run no shit over twitter, so tried a way out. once again, as it seems, trainees took control and bs became just another bs. meanwhile, fiatjaf came up and all jack’s problems were solved.
