Reduce alcohol intake. 😅 If they’re already hyped, battle is half won, which is good. For nostr, focus on Elon and twitter/X being centralised and full of algorithms. Bitcoin is actually harder. I was met with “I don’t want to know anything about bitcoin and I don’t care about”. Quite a hard stance to overcome. If they’re more receptive, then the simple ones are subtle reminders of the 2008 banking crisis, current high inflation costs (money printing and oversupply) and how fiat is backed by absolutely nothing. Biggest hurdle with bitcoin is how it’s still so very alien to so many and of course how it’s been portrayed in the media. I remind them how the wealthy protect their wealth. It’s never with cash in a bank but rather it’s ploughed into assets like land, art, and property (they get this). And bitcoin can be considered an asset for this purpose too. Protection from inflation.

Keep it simple. #nostr is fun and the ppl here are very friendly and supportive. #bitcoin is a bonus. That approach has worked for me.
