It's not all people though, it's coordinated bot armies for bandwagon effect. Just like Biden never had 50% of the country, the only weapon they have is distorting perception of the honest / naive.. That's why principles over popularity is so important. Also the lesson of Covid.

I wouldn't file it away either, but whatever amount of authenticity exists is being astroturfed and encouraged by those for whom it benefits.
