There are many categories of cryptocurrency.

The first category are Bitcoin only believer. We believe in Bitcoin because it is money with finite amount (unlike fiat money like Yen or US dollar which bank prints every year) and transaction cannot be frozen by anyone.

Bitcoin only believer loves Lightning Network Technology because it allow us to use Bitcoin easily.

The second category are Ethereum only Believer. This people loves ethereum because it has smart contract technology. With "smart contract" we can do a lot of function like in the real world, such as trading money, lending, leveraging futures, swapping, buying arts (also called NFT) and bridging money.

The third category are L2 believer. They loves blockchain that are fast, cheap & smooth. They love technology like matic, avalanche or fantom.

Then there are fourth category: pump and dump. They buy all sort of nonsense token hoping price will go up. They will like tokens like Shiba Inu and BabyDoge

Then they are fifth category, the "Internet of Blockchain (IBC)" . They strongly value decentralization & freedom. They will like coins like Atom (cosmos)

The sixth category are the NFT. They are only in crypto to buy or sell arts. They might not even know how crypto works.
