My prediction
The politically-minded, high-agency people everyone mocks for voting will also be the people who do well in a collapsed state because they are active actors and not merely reactors.
Things don't just happen to them. They make things happen.
That's why any complaint they make isn't whining. It's a warning shot.
What makes someone high-agency?
They're incorrigible, driven, focused, and confident in their ability to effect the world around them.
If you knock them down, they just get up and move faster.
Be that guy.
US elections probably won't be part of progress though. It's possible, but unlikely. We're more likely to completely collapse American society first
