People constantly use the phrase "that begs the question" incorrectly. Someone may have a question but "begging the question" is a logical fallacy where the conclusion is assumed in the premise.

So when you say "that begs the question" you are usually wrong and just commenting on your own recognition that you have a question about what was said prior.

Everything must not have a literal meaning .. that though begs the question if language is really to communicate exactness :-)

That was the point .. I consciously communicated "incorrectness" :-) .. at the end language is just code .. there is nothing right or wrong as long as message makes it to the other side ..
