Salmon Arm is a town in British Columbia many of the towns starred as either mining or fruit orchards like Apples. My favourite has always been the cherries.

My matriarchal side had a farm in Fruitvale for 4 generations until 2021 when it was sold. Which broke my heart a bit. For myself, it was the place I spent summers growing up. However, my wife's family is from the Detroit area and we were in the thick of child-rearing when it was offered.

In the end that farm is the reason I have my own farm today as it provided the star-up capital that was needed. I never planned on being a farmer, it just kinda happened over the last 5 yrs.
